La’Chelle Ruble was raised in Brownwood, Texas, and moved to Abilene to study marketing and business at Hardin Simmons University. La’Chelle has 20 years of experience with our office. She is a legal assistant and an elder law paralegal. La’Chelle always has a smile on her face and a friendly, helpful voice for those who call our office.

Lea Smith is a native of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Lea worked for the Texas Department of Aging and Disability as a case manager and policy protocol specialist for 25 years. Smith came to our firm in 2010 as a Medicaid eligibility case manager. She has about 30 years of experience with long-term care/Medicaid eligibility issues. She is senior Medicaid eligibility case coordinator and legal assistant for the Ladyman Law Office for senior planning services.

Jeremiah Ruble joined the Ladyman Law office for senior planning services in 2016 as Marketing Director. Ruble has since been promoted to Medicaid consultant to our firm. Ruble has become a very knowledgeable asset to our team in a very short time. “In my forty years of experience in dealing with Medicaid eligibility in the State of Texas, I can honestly say I have not trained anyone that has learned Medicaid guidelines quicker than Jeremiah Ruble. W.O. Elmore is a native of Haskell, Texas, with a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural business from Tarleton State University. He and his wife Mendi have two married daughters and six grandchildren. Elmore worked for the Texas Department of Human Services in the Long Term Care Medicaid program for 25 years. He has been working for the Ladyman Law Office for senior planning services as a Medicaid consultant since 2003. Elmore is a legal assistant, elder law paralegal and senior Medicaid consultant for our firm.

Tim Ladyman is an Abilene attorney who has been practicing elder law in Texas for more than 30 years. Ladyman has extensive experience in nursing home financial planning through the use of Medicaid programs for the elderly. Ladyman grew up in Arlington, Texas, and attended Abilene Christian University and Pepperdine University School of Law before settling in Abilene, Texas. Ladyman and his wife Lori have a combined six children and seven grandchildren. Tim Ladyman is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys-Texas NAELA. He also is a qualified mediator and family law mediator.
